Pragati is known for their investment in brand new machines and have always been referred as ‘First to install’ in India. Machines like Jagenber folder gluer in 1965, Polar EMC cutting machine with monitor, Aqua Flex flexo press from Canada, two Gidue flexo press from Italy, Inrimik Vesta golfer gluer from Spain, IMG Brause automatic die-cutter (now taken over by Bobst) were the first to be installed in India.


Background

Founded in the year 1960 by our visionary leader Mr JP Nema, our company has consistently evolved through continuous improvement in technology and processes to create a legacy of 6 decades. Our chairman’s foresightedness led to the import of 'Automatic Carton Folding Machine' as early as 1965, which placed the company ahead of the curve. This was followed by 8 Heidelberg machines, imported between 1961-1977, which drew a lot of attention from the industry and ministries alike. Consequently, he received multiple awards including Entrepreneur of the year award in 1983 from the Vice-President of India, Mohammad Hidayatullah.

Over the years, the second and third generations have taken the legacy ahead with their sheer hardwork, integrity and passion for excellence.

We specialize in large scale Sheet Fed Offset, Flexographic Printing & Gravure Printing.

    Incorporated as Indore paper Box Factory and started with a humble investment in a single colour letterpress from Heidelberg, Germany.

  • 1961 /1965

    Investment in 3 more letter presses and a paper cutting machine.

  • 1966 /1984

    Investment in a series of modern offset printing machines, folder gluers and die cutters.

  • 1985 /1990

    Bought First 4 Color 28” x 40” Offset Machine & Automatic Die Cutter

    Indore Paper Box Factory rebranded as Pragati Graphics Pvt. Ltd.
